Well, with so many new dramas ordered, CBS of course has to make room for them.
That's why the Eye has officially canceled "A Gifted Man", which is not a surprise after the show failed to gain respectable ratings, and had its episode order reduced to 15.
UPDATE: And it's now official that CBS has also canceled "CSI:Miami". The network has released the following statement:
“CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy – a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS’s rise to the top over the past decade. We thank all the producers – led by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ann Donahue — and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for 10 outstanding seasons. Viewers around the world will continue to enjoy rebroadcasts of “CSI: Miami” in syndication and on key digital platforms for many years to come.”
Also canceled, now officially, per Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, is crime drama "Unforgettable", as well as rookie police drama "NYC 22".
On a happier note, has renewed its other "CSI" drama on the bubble, "CSI: NY" for another season.
